Richmond Plains has been organic since inception in 1991 and is the longest continuous producer of Certified Organic wines in New Zealand.
Richmond Plains produced New Zealand's first Certified Organic Sauvignon Blanc wine; a variety for which New Zealand is world renowned. Richmond Plains also produced New Zealand's first certified organic Pinot Noir and Blanc de Noir.
